Our Vision

Our Mission

A dynamic transportation network that enriches American life.

ARTBA brings together all facets of the transportation construction industry to responsibly advocate for infrastructure investment and policy that meet the nation’s need for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods.

Value Proposition

Uniting the Industry

ARTBA represents all public and private sector components of the U.S. transportation construction industry. We utilize the unparalleled diversity of our membership to develop consensus-oriented policy solutions that challenge the status quo in pursuit of improving transportation system performance and conditions.

Advocacy

Grassroots activism, empirical research, communications technologies, policy innovation, legal and regulatory engagement, and old-fashioned shoe leather direct lobbying are the tools ARTBA strategically deploys on the industry’s behalf. Our advocacy agenda is driven by one central tenet: securing a dynamic transportation network that enriches American life.

Safety, Safety, Safety

Whether it be policy recommendations for the federal transportation programs, sharing “best practices'' among our member firms, training thousands of construction industry workers annually, or the dissemination of work zone data to project owners, the safety of the traveling public and our industry’s workers is foundational to every aspect of ARTBA’s program of work.

Collaboration for Success

ARTBA has long recognized the value of leveraging internal resources and assets through coalition leadership and partnerships with non-traditional stakeholders to develop broad- based support that is essential for any meaningful federal legislative or regulatory policy outcome.
