Environmental Policy

Adopted May 2023, ARTBA’s environmental policy outlines a set of guiding principles and makes recommendations for improving regulatory requirements in the areas of clean air and climate change, clean water and wetlands and habitat and species protection.

Highway Policy

ARTBA’s highway policy, adopted September 2022, was developed by members from all eight divisions and reflects the association’s positions in several areas including: funding and finance, project delivery, procurement, and safety.

Safety Policies

Prepared by members of the ARTBA Safety Forum, these policy papers highlight best practices in work zones safety, such as automated speed enforcement and positive protection measures. They serve as a resource for both policy makers and construction crews.
